天津12日晚間11點左右發生近年來最嚴重的化工爆炸事故，截至13日晚上6點，據新華社公布，這起事故共造成50人死亡，701人住院治療，其中重傷71人。值得注意的是，這次事故中，第一時間奔赴現場的消防隊員傷亡慘重，已知有11人殉職、18人失聯、66人受傷。大陸國家主席習近平13日上午下令，要嚴肅查處責任人。

根據大陸公安部消防局官網「中國消防在線」所披露的消息，12日晚間10時50分，濱海新區港務集團瑞海物流危化品堆垛發生火災，當地消防隊派出1千多人、143輛消防車趕赴現場救火；但處置過程中，發生爆炸，造成人員傷亡。

用水救火 如火上加油

根據公安部消防局的初步鑑定，起火的倉庫中存有4大類、幾十種易燃易爆化學品，其中包括硝酸銨、硝酸鉀、電石等。由於電石遇水極易產生氣爆，而消防隊第一時間卻使用水救火，可小套房貸款 公務人員房貸 公務人員優惠貸款 公務人員貸款利率能是造成爆炸的原因之一，但公安部消防局宣傳處副處長雷進德卻堅稱，處置方式是按程序來，「肯定是科學的」。

5公里外 拉起警戒線

官方目前仍未能確定爆炸事故原因，爆炸現場直到晚上仍持續冒出陣陣濃煙；事故現場5公里外，警方拉起警戒線，完全禁止人車出入，同時有警車、特警車巡邏，戒備森嚴、如臨大敵。

大陸軍方也投入龐大人力救援，目前已在事故現場路口支援交管、在安置災民的學校維護秩序、在醫院附近搭起醫療急救站。

13日下午4時30分，天津市政府在天津市濱海新區美華酒店舉行天津爆炸後的首場新聞發布會。天津濱海新區區長張勇在會中表示，起火原因正在調查，一旦有結果會及時向社會公布。他說，目前掌握的情況來看，是先起火後爆炸。

而據《北京青年報》報導，爆炸企業負責人只峰爆炸時在現場，因此腦震盪顱內出血，傷勢嚴重，13日凌晨一點半左右被送到泰達醫院神經外科救治，13日下午清醒，但意識仍在恢復中。
